laner boards have fast become common equipment when trolling large bodies of water for often-moving fish such as Walleye, Lake, Brown and Rainbow Trout, and Salmon. We have received numerous requests to provide plans for this equipment due to the high cost and inability to modify commercial models. Recently we have found such a set of plans and present them to you here.
NOTE: We have not yet had the opportunity to make a planer board from these plans, so if any modifications are necessary, please forward them to editor@the-fishing-network.com. Thanks in advance for your input.
When making the boards, make sure you mitre, rasp or plane a 30o angle on the front of the boards as shown in the plans.
