WEEDSThe best and most productive weeds for attracting crappies are the cabbage variety, followed by coontail. The least productive aquatic plant for attracting crappies is eel grass, as a mater of fact I have never located crappies in eel grass unless there are other weeds locates in the area. Before you tear out the door in your quest for crappies you will have to decide on what size of lake to fish, large or small. The prime locations in these two types of water can very or can sometimes can be the same, depending on the topography of the lake. Some types of locations that produce on small bodies of water can also be duplicated in parts of large bodies of water. |
