Lures

Lures are difficult to fish in obstructed waters such as the brook trout stream. Carry a good supply of spare lures and be prepared to see them hanging from trees and bushes. Accuracy in casting is essential. Small floating or subsurface lures like miniature floating crank baits, spinners, and small banana baits like the flatfish and quickfish are good. Baitfish colors are best but black and gold do wonders on dark-bottomed streams.
