Question #3: : What makes the new suspending husky jerk bait from Rapala the talk of the show?

Answer #3: The interest in the husky jerk reminds me of when the original Rapala came on the market twenty or twenty-five years ago. Everyone wanted one and supplies became depleted fast. This new Rapala has a neutral buoyancy system that allows you to crank the bait down to a certain level and leave it there. When you stop cranking, the "jerk" remains suspended at that depth. This innovation lets anglers put a presentation right in the fish's face and leave it there, giving us the opportunity to get some finicky fish to bite. As the name implies, by jerking the lure along using a stop and go retrieve with out the lure sinking or raising, you simply catch more fish by remaining in the strike zone.
