"In the next 45 minutes we caught 28 fish!" When we got there, we noticed that the point suddenly dropped to 16 feet and that there were decayed weed beds on either side. The weed-bed fish, both largemouth and smallmouth had vacated the weeds and were relating to the point. In the next 45 minutes we caught 28 fish! Although some were small, the average was about 2 1/2 lbs. So when your told that all the bass have left their summer spots and are suspended in open water, don't always believe it. Try this method out this fall.
