Quick Quip...
Not All Breaks Are Under Water Most anglers are well aware of the many structure breaks that occus beneath the waves - separating depth, weedlines, bottom make-up, etc., but few are aware of the easiest to read which occur within easy eyesight. Breaks can also be evident on the surface if you watch for shadow lines, edges of patches of floating debris, current breaks and wind breaks. Any of these types of 'visible' structure can often hold the most aggressive of fish - of many species!
What's New...
Most of the last few weeks has been spent in site maintenance and cleaning, so not much is new this time around. However, look for some great new features in the next few weeks!
Send in those stories! As I said before, "Ya can't win if ya don't play!". Check out the Hooked on Bass contest in the last Zine issue, and send in your stories to win a free CD ROM filled with bassin' info, video, audio and diagrams from In-Fisherman™!

Well, the TFN Club Program will be launched in the next 2-3 weeks. We're just working on the on-line database systems to handle everything, and finalizing a few arrangements to give members some terrific value.
Those of you who have requested information about starting a local TFN club should be receiving information via email in the next 2 weeks.
Of course, we're still looking for a few good people to help us get other local clubs off the ground. If you email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it (please type New Club Info as the subject), I'll send you back the web address of the beta website as soon as it's debugged, up and running.
If you already have a club that is not affiliated with any organization, and would be interested in some info on how to become affiliated with TFN, you can also email me (please type "Club Affiliation" as the subject) and as soon as the info's ready, we'll let you how to access it.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Until next issue...
(tight lines, get it wet, good fishin', see you on the water, etc., etc.).
