Fishing was very good for near-shore grouper, sea trout and redfish up until the current cold snap. As a general rule it will take two or three days for the fish in our area to start actively feeding again once the snap ends. Last trip we boated 24 grouper and several sea bass, most caught on magnum sized Cordell Spots in chrome finish. We
caught the fish in six to eight feet of water.
