To get the most in food value and eating pleasure out of your catch, it is essential to clean it promptly and thoroughly. Here's how to do it for smaller fish: - Kill the fish by hitting it on the head.
- Scrape off scales towards head.
- Insert knife point in anal vent and slit belly to head. Remove entrails, open and clean backbone blood trail.
- Cut off fins, wash cavity.
